July 3, 2008

For the 13th year, the A&P Family of Supermarkets will be hosting their Annual Charity Golf Classic to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) this month. The event will take place on July 14 at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Far Hills, N.J.

Registration for this year's tournament begins at 7 a.m., with tee off at 9:45 a.m. Play with be followed by auctions, dinner, and presentations by key A&P executives.

The financial support given to MDA provides care and opportunities for those living with neuromuscular disease, said Montvale, N.J.-based A&P, which operates numerous banners in eight states and the District of Columbia.
