Super S Launches Price, Promo Optimization Solution

Super S Foods, which operates 49 grocery stores throughout South and Central Texas, yesterday started to deploy a price and promotional modeling and optimization solution in an effort to be more competitive while maintaining margins.

The chain said it is using the Retail suite from Florham Park, N.J.-based vendor KSS Retail.

"I believe price optimization is a requirement for any grocery chain that wants to enhance their competitive position in a market without sacrificing margins," said David McBurnett, president of Super S. "Retailers who use KSS Retail consistently show positive results, both on increasing their market competitiveness, and enhancing their bottom line."
